Prejudice, Injustice, Inequality do you know what these words mean? They mean an opinion or feeling formed without knowledge, thought or reason against a person or treating one person different or unequal to a another. This is unacceptable in today’s culture but not back in the 1930’s. 1990 what happened this year? Not ringing any bells? This year was the year the Disability Act was passed by Congress, before this Disabled people were seen as unhealthy and defective and were put in asylums and institutions. Blacks were told they were diseased and had to use different water fountains even different schools. That isn’t acceptable now but it was then. Throughout the novella of, Mice and Men, Steinbeck suggests prejudice against race and disability will limit your ability to achieve your goals.
Being able to see how Lennie thinks and processes what’s going on around him can really explain why Lennie acts the way he does. It can also show us how he interprets how people treats him. This connects to Steinbeck use of Prejudice against disability because Lennie doesn’t always realize he’s being discriminated against.

The second genre I chose was a résumé because it shows how hard they work and how far they have come. Seeing the résumé indicates how hard they work and how they take any job and are up for anything. It shows that they have been working hard they entire lives and have ambition and goals.
