College may not be right for everyone but, it does provide more opportunities for grow and careers. Although college is expensive, students should strive for higher education to mature and make more money in the long run. (4-5 total)
When students graduate high school, most of the time, they are not ready for the real world. Young adults learn interpersonal skills in college. College is where students have to interact with faculty, other students in organizations and clubs. Maturing is a factor that many determine when deciding to attend college. According to, Michael Roth in his article: “What’s a Liberal Arts Education Good For?” he states, “Liberal arts education emphasizes freedom and experimentation as tools for students to develop meaningful ways of working after graduation”.     Scott Carlson’s Article How to Assess the Real Payoff of A College Degree, shows his point of view on college and if it is worth all the hard work, time, and debt. Carlson explains between two different views on this subject. He discusses the differences between how college can be worth the payoff and how also it can be a waste of time.
