"The Declaration of Independence provides three unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Out of these three, the pursuit of happiness is definitely the most important to me. If one does not understand the pursuit of happiness, they simply won’t be able to live life to the fullest. Completing every single task requires the pursuit of happiness, because if one is miserable while performing a task, it will only make it worse. Everyone might as well do everything with a smile and look on the bright side to pursue happiness. The Declaration of Independence provides three unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Out of these three, the pursuit of happiness is definitely the most important to me. There are multiple duties and obligations I have as an American citizen, as do every other American citizen. These duties and obligations are not stressful by any means; in fact, they are extremely simple. Essentially, just having common sense and being a good person will result in fulfilling the duties and obligations every American citizen has. For example, my duty, and everyone else’s duty as well, is to treat everyone with kindness and respect, and how I would like to be treated, is the golden rule. Therefore, this results in fulfilling the duties and obligations that I have as an American citizen. As I most definitely feel that life and liberty are extremely important, the pursuit of happiness is the most important to me personally. I will admit that there are times where I do not go through with something with an open mind or complete happiness, which results in the same dreadful feeling I had to begin with. When this happens, I always remind myself that if I had started out with a happy approach, it would have ended much better.
