According to Rawls, “The principles of justice are chosen behind a veil of ignorance. This ensures that no one is advantaged or disadvantaged”. In reality, how to create such a circumstance in which people are behind the “veil of ignorance” and no one is advantaged or disadvantaged?
Because in our society, people are born in different family. They have different religions, social status, interests, and backgrounds. It is hard to prevent them from making a choice that will favor their particular condition.
If there is no way to apply the “veil of ignorance”, what would be the justice in reality?
