Retention and graduation rates is very important, and the college seeks to develop new strategies to ensure that they maintain high rates. As part of making this possible, the remaining four goals are used as the foundation.
The second goal of Pier Pointe College is to make the institution accessible and affordable to everyone. This means that the college provides online courses to facilitate students who are not able to be in the classroom, furthermore, the college established several campuses throughout
New York. In making college education more attainable, Pier Point College designed various financial aids and services to ease the stress of students meeting their financial obligations.
The third goal is to create an atmosphere that promotes innovation.
The college aims to students and staff to be more creative and innovative whether through classroom activities or extracurricular activities. With this, they want to maintain a social environment where students network with each other, as well as participate in activities that extend beyond the school into their communities through volunteerism.
