Her parents arrange Amanda’s schedule by involving her in activities such as private tutoring for reading, bowling league with others with disabilities, and summer camp. Even though this is a great way for Amanda to be involved in the community, Amanda has to be able to be responsible to plan such activities, which is why Amanda may be uninterested and desire to independent. Since Amanda receive private tutoring for reading, she lacks her reading skills. For this scenario, Amanda seems to not let her reading skills affect her behavior. Another key note is she is demonstrating a poor work effort, or occupational skills. She has been more focused on talking about boys, and does not respect personal space by the act of being overly affectionate. Amanda does not follow rules or directions instructed by the school’s staff and at her job.
