Being a teacher at Weimar Academy is no easy feat, especially when you have the work load Goad does. She gives the phrase “early bird” a new meaning with her 3:45 AM wake-up call. After devotions she teaches PE, Anatomy & Physiology and Biology class, and Work ED.
Teaching isn’t her only aspiration. Alongside her career at the Academy, she has been studying to get her bachelors in business. She loves to learn and has enjoyed how she has been intellectually challenged while teaching at Weimar Academy. Why not just call her Wonder Woman.

She loves the staff, the kids, and the environment that the school is centered around. She often talks about how her highlight of the year was being a “mother” to several sick boys over the Academy’s choir tour. One would think cleaning up vomit would be the worst part of the year, but for Goad it was like a modern day foot washing. It was a humbling experience that grew her closer to those students.
Goad says: “What I’ve learned in my life is: it’s not about events, it’s about relationships. It’s not about those “big moments”, it’s about the day to day.”
Goad says that God-willing she will stay at the academy through the next school year and then aims to get her Masters in biblical psychology. But she doesn’t want to stop there. She dreams of one day having her own Biblical Counseling
