Explain Why Bullying Is A Social Issue
Why Bullying is a Social Issue?
Harassment is a major issue for children and young people that experience it. It thumps their self-regard and makes them lose their confidence, and can make them fear going to class every day. In extreme cases, children can get to be suicidal as a consequence of tormenting. It’s also a huge problem for parents and teachers, in light of the fact that stopping harassing is a hard thing to do and they frequently don't have any idea about the most ideal way to go about it. There are three key components to stopping tormenting: educating the bullies, imposing greater punishment for the bullies, and protecting the victim

The reason that bully must be educated is that a significant number of them are have any idea of how much they are hurting their victim. In serious cases, it is likely completely deliberate, however

This could be the main best thing that works for terrible individuals, on the grounds that they will just care when it starts to influence them. Harassing often isn't taken seriously enough; for instance, in the event that you punched a man on the road you would most likely be arrested, however in the event that it happens in a situation of bullying, they may get a detention. It is critical not to allow things to happen in school that they would never get away with out in the real world, also children and young people who don't have limits and rules forced as they grow up may not comply with the law as grown-ups.

The last main way to manage bullying includes working with the victim. Victims of bullying need to know their self-worth so they don't simply acknowledge what's going on to them, and should be taught to be confident without simply being aggressive. They should also be taught that self-protection is okay when necessary, and should not be punished for it, while it is also critical that grown-ups always hear them out and consider their worries

Bullying has become an epidemic, and it needs to come to an end. If people will stand up for each other and protect each other, I believe bullying would cease to be effective. It preys on those who do not have the confidence to defend themselves. Often times, the bully hurts others as a way of protecting himself. He believes that if he attacks others, then they will not know he himself is hurting, or has been hurt in the past. It becomes a coping mechanism for him. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that bullying should not be responded to with more violence. They need to be shown love, but firm love. A love that says, “I love you enough to not let you continue down this path. Let me show you another way.” Then you are not only l protecting those that the bully hurts, but also you are protecting the bully himself in the long run.…

Lastly, most bullies have big issues either physically or emotionally in their own home or personal life. We don’t know how they’re living or what they are going through. If they are being abused at home, then the bully’s only reason for bullying is because since they are being bullied themselves, it’s okay to do it to other people, when it’s not. If they keep thinking it’s okay to keep bullying…

The second way to reduce bullying is to get better punishments. When kids get bullied the bullies usually just get off with a warning or sent home unless in the case of death. When the bullied don't kill themselves the bullies usually get off with a warning. When given a warning people don't take it seriously and more often than not nothing is done until it is too late. I think that the bully should be given a in-school suspension. When people are given out of school suspensions they look at it as vacation time. I think if we gave out in-school suspensions as the firs reaction to bullying it would happen less.…

According to an article written by Maggie Clark, Illinois requires schools to do social-emotional learning exercises to prevent bullying. During the exercises, students describe their emotions during a stressful event or recognize the emotional reactions to stress. On the punishment side, five states don’t have any sanctions for bullying in their anti-bullying laws, while 12 states include a criminal sanction for bullies, ranging from school suspension to jail time, according to an analysis of state bullying laws from the Cyberbullying Research Center (Clark).…

Bullying exists in many forms which affect people physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Bullying is when a person or group of people use intimidation, insults or violence to make another individual feel scared or inferior. The views and beliefs about bullying have changed. Years ago it used to be considered as not a danger to the victim and that it would help children learn how to “toughen up.” Now bullying is considered a health issue as well as a threat. Bullying is no longer considered just a school age problem. It can continue or start for people at high school age, college age or even as an adult. Students who are bullied ave to right to stay in school and receive the education they came to school for. Its not there fault that they are being bullied so they should not be the ones who are forced to isolate themselves because people are doing stuff to they that should not be done. In a way, them having the choice to do school online is allowing them to run away from there problems. Administration should have a system they use when they find out a child is bullying another student. It should begin a phone call home notifying both set of parents about the problems going on between both students. If the problem still continues between the two the bully should be suspended for the first time. If after that the bully continues they should be expelled out of school and entered in anger management and counseling. After they complete both programs and show that they have improved they should then have they choice to go back to…

Anti-bullying campaigns are presented everywhere from the televisions in homes to assemblies in schools. As a result, thousands of young people all across America are lavished with benevolent ideals as a quick fix to an incomprehensible issue. With society's extreme pressures to end bullying, one would have to wonder: why has bullying not ended? The goal behind anti-bullying campaigns are that those viewing these presentations leave realizing the possible error of their ways, and hopefully become changed people from then on. However, the more I research, the more I understand that bullying is an issue that takes more than social reforms to fix. Granted, there…
