My passion has always been focused around children. What I have wanted to be when I grow up has changed, and my idea of a future career might continue to change, but one thing will always remain the same; my future career involves the betterment of children or infants. All of these jobs are different, but also same in a way. They all improve a child's life for the better. By becoming a pediatrician I could start be staying local and improving the health of children around me, but my end goal is to eventually travel and use my degree to help impoverished children around the world.
To become a pediatrician I have to go to college for a total of 8 years. On average doctors come out of school with over $170,000 in student loans. I can say that I would not be able to pay for school on my own. I have two siblings, so my parents would not be able to contribute very much to my education. I am relying on scholarships to put me through school, and help me achieve my dream.
