Extended Metaphor
I would be a car; a Chevrolet to be more specific. Chevrolet is the most common car here in Ecuador, so at first I would be one of those cars. First, I’d be a common Chevrolet that would drive around the streets and would not stand out from the rest of the cars and Chevrolets that drove around the streets. However, as time passed and I matured, I would be modified with a new motor, a new set of tires, new brakes, better handling, etc. Now, I would be a completely different Chevrolet that I was at the beginning. With my new modification I could now race against Lamborghinis and Porches. I would be more competitive. Now, I would stand out from the rest of the cars. Not only because I would be faster and with better handling, but also because of the paint of my car and its drawing. I wouldn’t have those normal, plain and boring colors that most of the cars have. Instead, I’d have a more exotic color that would make stand out and reflect my personality. With time and dedication I was able to modify myself, and now, with better brakes, I know when to stop when I’m going in a bad direction. With better handling, I know when to shift and look for another path, for another option. With better lights, I am able to see more clearly what’s ahead of me and that allows me to prepare in a better way for what is to come. Having modified myself allows me to stand out from the common cars and allows me to compete with the best of the best. It allows me to challenge
