Eye Of The Tiger Meaning
Eye of the Tiger
There are many songs in today’s era that give there listeners the strength to carry on. The song I have chosen is “Eye of the Tiger”. The artist responsible for the creation of this masterpiece of inspiration is survivor. Eye of the Tiger was released spring of 1982 as well as featured in Rocky III. Inspiration, theme, and the strength to overcome hardships is what this song has given me. Life is never easy for anyone, and Eye of the Tiger is a song that gives strength and determination to those that listen to the words.
This song is the inspiration that was needed to succeed in school and future life goals. There were times giving up and going back to dead end jobs seemed to be a easier choice to make. The songs words and message gave me the strength to fight onward. Today I have graduated with honors, became one of the SCC Ambassador, and working towards my second degree in criminal justice.
For those of you who have never heard ‘Eye of the Tiger”, listen to the words. Then set back and thank about your life, and the struggles that has been

The struggles I have survived would have broken people, leaving them no option but to give up. This is not a choice to consider when you’re a mother of two. The fight for a single mother of two is real. Sadly, through the years I have felt the hopelessness and sorrow life has to offer. The loss of my job and home gave no relief to any mother’s struggles. When hopelessness and depression started show their ill intention I would play “Eye of the Tiger”. Once the song played and its lyrics flowed through me, it gave me the strength to fight life’s struggles and refuse defeat. Today, I have provided a better home for my children as well as stability. There was also a marriage this past June of me and my longtime friend and boyfriend. This proves with hope and determination life’s struggles are no more than a challenge to

There’s large amounts of symbolism in the story, especially in the latter half. To begin, the title of the story Cat’s Eye represents the marble that Elaine was fond of in her childhood. She stated that the marble was something she could protect herself with, and it represented her lost childhood because as time carries on, she didn’t care much for the marble and forgot about it completely till she discovered it much later on in her life. It symbolized her innocence and who she was, and when she lost the marble, she lost that part of herself as well. Later on, Elaine’s paintings have been revealed to the public, and it’s been made clear what those paintings represent. She talks about several paintings she made, describing them all in detail,…

“Every day every hour. Turn the pain into power.” Danny O’Donoghue, a vocalist member of the band The Script, sings in “Superheroes” about the strength that comes with overcoming the struggles presented in life; similarly this message can be seen in Ishmael Beah’s recount of the challenges he faced as a victim of war, A Long Way Gone. To me, the song is a reminder of how difficulties can build someone into a stronger person. Throughout the song, all the lyrics hint that without suffer and perseverance, success cannot be achieved. Similarly, in Beah’s story, he becomes a teenager with more fortitude only after breaking down and experiencing immense grief and pain both physically and mentally. From listening to and analyzing “Superheroes” and reading A Long Way Gone, I learn that only after breaking down and…

I need to get up and start my day, but I’m so emotionally drained I don’t want to move. Tears begin to roll down my cheek as I think about how I have failed at life. I should have finished school when I had a chance. I’m in a job that I enjoy, but I could be further in life if I would have just finished school. I’m too old to go back to school now, is it possible? Fear and anxiety creeps up, and now the thought of failing are present in my mind. Life has been rough, but I’m a very determined person. It all started when I turned fourteen years old. Being this young really made me wretched at the fact that I had to work for my necessities and wants. Watching other teenagers get their desires made me realize how challenging life was for oneself. I didn’t appreciate my dad’s actions and how they contrived my life. At the time, I was just an ordinary teenager wanting to be equivalent to others and having materialistic things.…

Just imagine it, Pamela Anderson running down a hot beach in the cutest red lifeguard bathing suit while the wind is blowing her hair in slow motion. This is the image that Hollywood portrays as the ideal lifeguard. However realistic Baywatch may seem, it is far from reality. Lifeguarding is thought of as easy going and care free, but it is quite the opposite. A lifeguard must remain alert and aware at all times because a normal day could easily turn into a life or death situation.…
