Fado is a worldwide musical symbol of Portuguese culture and tradition. This genre which means ‘Fate’ in Latin is refers to the often harsh realities of everyday life, sometimes with a sense of resignation and also sometimes with the hope of resolution. Each region in Portugal usually has at least a musical style and fado. His friends entreated a bomoh (shaman) to heal him. When the bomoh conducted the healing ritual to bring the fisherman's soul back, the princess appeared and responded by calling on five of her sisters to her aid. The battle between the bomoh and the six princesses continued until the seventh and the eldest princess appeared and put an end to it. .However nowadays, Ulek Mayang have changed as they were performed without any spiritual intentions.
