Suicide is taking Away Our Youth Suicide is the second leading cause of death among individuals aged ten to twenty-four years old, only to be passed by motor vehicle accidents as the leading cause of death. More teenagers die from suicide than from Aids, birth defects, cancer, heat disease, stroke, pneumonia, influenza and chronic lung disease combined. Teens who have combated suicide gave clear warning signs only to go unnoticed by their family and friends. Society is not good at providing the required resources for teens to use when they feel they need to no longer live. Teens find that suicide is the only way to cope with their problems that with time will. Suicide doesn’t just affect the person it also effects the society. When the Chinese girl committed suicide by laying on the train tracks. The poor train driver who couldn’t stop the train it time. The train driver didn’t choose to kill someone he will now have to live the rest of his life( afraid of driving a train because another teenager might be wanting to kill their life.)(pathos) It is not fair for the train driver to have to be put in a situation like this. The train would be one of the easiest way to commit suicide but would be traumatizing to watch if an eye witness of the situation.

When I was in grade 9 in high school so therefore I was fourteen years old. A girl in the same grade as me committed suicide. I didn’t know her and was unaware of her story. She was facing online bullying from the early age of ten years old from one faithful mistake of flashing herself in front of the camera. The person who she flash herself to won’t stop bullying her and exposing her photos on social media. This caused all her classmates to start bullying her, that the only way out was to move schools. The new school was great for her until the same online bully started to share her flashing photo to the classmates of her new school. Her mother notified police as well as school teaching about this ongoing incident nothing would stop the problem. She was trying so hard to fit in in a society that wouldn't accept her because of the one mistake she made. The police should have had more options for her and should of investigated more about the person behind the bulling and charge him with child abuse. The police only investigated after her death which is too late. The day before she committed suicide she posted a video on youtube where she told the world her story. This video went viral and people who didn’t even know her wanted to be her friend and everyone felt sorry that this happened to her. The much needed society help was there but it was too late. Her
