interview. Family Nursing Diagnoses and Intervention Calgary Family Intervention Model (CFAM) is described as a” companion to “Calgary Family Assessment Model (CFAM). The essence of nursing is to alleviate suffering by designing a plan of care truly address identified problem (Addington & Burnett, 2004). The diagnoses identified for this family are:
1) Failure to utilize community resources for health care due to inadequate knowledge of community resources evidenced by no knowledge of PACT services.
Interventions: Determine level of knowledge and skills of the family already possesses about mental health illness. I will work with the family to develop a list of health care resources available in their community.
2.) Dysfunctional Family
