I have the parents sign in all the children when they come in and when picking the child up. When a child is picked up by other people I check the child’s file to make sure that person has permission from the parent to pick up the child. I also have daily routines check off the room, every day at the end of the day all equipment is sanitized. I take out any toys or equipment that is broken. I make sure every child has his or her shoes tie. I make sure every child has their own spoon, fork, cup and plate when eating. Before eating anything I have all children wash their hands. I check all out lets to make sure they are cover. After I am done changing a child’s diaper I make sure I wash their hands with soap, water and dry them with clean napkins. While in the classroom everything is at the child’s eye level. I have a box of clean Kleenex on the table. When I clean their noise I make sure after I am done I wash the child’s hands as well as mines. When going outside I make sure the children walk instead of running. I make sure the children walk up the play set and don’t run. I have them sit on the slide when sliding down. I take care of any broken equipment right away. When changing from one area to another I count to make sure I have all the children.
