Fashion Application Research Paper

Fashion has always been my favorite source of creative expression. It allows individuals to embrace their creativity in a simple but complex way. It can differentiate people from one another, and also bring them together. Fashion is different all around the world, and I am ready to explore it at The Art Institute of Atlanta. The Art Institute is perfect for me due to location, offerings, and future opportunities. As of my plans for the future, I aspire to be a Fashion Director for a company whose target market are young men and women (such as Forever21, H&M, etc). Although I have a specific career choice, many other components of fashion are intriguing to me also. I would also prefer furthering a creative career in the buying, styling, and production of fashion. I am very open to the different possibilities, and I am very confident that The Art Institute of Atlanta will guide me to make the right decision.
As I started to contemplate my decision for after high school being a fashion major was at the top of my list.
However after having doubts I decided to attend a Historically Black University and ended up changing my major almost 3 times within the first 2 years due to lack of interest in my classes. I wanted to be passionate about what I was learning, and I wanted to enjoy learning it also. It was after my second year that I finally decided to go after what I love no matter how high the stakes were. After attending a Historically Black University, I am aware of how essential being involved on and off campus is. Working in retail or producing a fashion blog such as FashionBombDaily are a few things I can do to further my knowledge, along with being involved in campus productions and clubs. The Art Institute of Atlanta has such an amazing reputation I am confident that obtaining a degree from here will allow me to
succeed.
