War, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing! Around the World everyday there is some type of war happening. War affect everyone and thousands or even millions die because of war. The problem or issue that I’m going to talk about is why war is morally wrong and can war ever be justified. This Essay will talk about many thing including the three traditions of thought that dominate the ethics of war and peace: Realism; Pacifism; and the Just War Theory. Another thing I’m going to talk about is why war should be understood as an actual intentional and widespread armed conflict between political communities. I’m also going talk where does the church stand on the topic of war. There are lots of debates on war whether it a good thing or an awful thing on the face of the earth. So the controversy behind this topic that some people believe that you can achieve a common good by going to war. By that I mean war help out the economy, For Example in 1930’s The Great Depression was happening and World War II brought jobs that caused The Great Depression to end. The Other group of people believe that going to war is completely wrong, that you will not achieve anything and make the situation worst. For Example, pretend the rebel took out the angry dictator, the country will be unsettled with no government or Constitution. Post World War II, The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization established 24 October 1945, to promote international co-operation. A replacement for the ineffective League of Nations, the organization was created following the Second World War to prevent another such conflict. Most of the time War violate human rights, For Example in World War Two there was a Jewish Genocide. Acts of genocide violate the most fundamental and broadly accepted principles of human conduct. The World Wars, and the huge losses of life and gross abuses of human rights that took place during them, were a driving force behind the development of modern human

War brings death and destruction, merciless slaughter and butchery, disease and starvation, poverty and ruin in its wake. Although war may not always be the first answer or the most beneficial, it is an inescapable evil because war has brought the world peace and prosperity while banding people together to fight for a cause. It leads to national growth and solves domestic problems between countries; Injustice and tyranny can be quelled as the aftereffect of war. On the contrary, war includes loss of human life, spreads of diseases, and induces a feeling of anxiety and dismay among communities. The brutal sacrifices that innocent people undergo may not be worth the outcome.…

The idea of war brings up many questions about life and death, suffering, and consequences. While many people may see war as something that affects people as a whole, such as nations or a persecuted group, war further impacts every individual, whether or not they are directly involved. War limits freedoms and individualism, and in most cases people find themselves with less rights than during peacetime. People base their choices not on what they feel, and more on what they have to do to survive. Soldiers and civilians alike are influenced by war in different ways, however, these tie together when the overall effects of war are examined.…

To conclude, there is no doubt that the conflict of war is a useless encounter that affects many innocent people’s lives, the economic stability and physiological wellbeing of soldiers. It is evident that in some circumstances society makes war to ensure peace, and on the surface this seems rational, even plausible. However, in reality throughout the journey there is a great human and economic cost…

“War, what is it good for”? The lyrics to the 60’s pop song, provokes the question that Just War proponents and Pacifists have wrestled with throughout history, reaching opposite conclusions. Those in favor of Just War theory, say war is only good insofar as it is fought for the right reasons and brings about the right end. Whereas, Pacifists reject war completely, preferring peaceful means to resolve conflict. But which one is morally and ethically right? Which one should be adopted and practiced by the Nations of this World? Upon examining the logic and philosophical implications of each ethical stance, one is able to sympathize with them both, seeing their values and virtue.…

    War and Peace

The United States should use military force in defense of personal liberties and rights, for stability and security, in self defense, and as a last resort, when peaceful resolution and/or compromise is impossible. The goal of U.S. foreign policy should be to that which benefits itself and its citizens. Peace is possible, but not always sustainable. The topic of War and Peace has been the central, continually recurring issue throughout a majority of United States history, continually affecting everyday modern life within the international community. War is an unpleasant, yet necessary instance that will likely continue to pervade human interaction. Peace, being the opposite of war, is seen as preferable, but lacks the problem solving abilities of war. Because of this intricate relationship, the two will always be in tango, each affecting each other in every way. Foreign policy, the interaction with others, will constantly dictate the states of war and peace, and when their existence is permitted. The essay will attempt to explain war in terms of conflicting self interest, compromise, and violence. The essay will attempt to form a definite stance concerning foreign policy, and answer how we should interact with other people/countries, and why. Foreign policy stance will form the baseline for clauses of when going to war is acceptable. And war will be analyzed in depth to explain why it occurs, what happens in it, and what it ends in. These ideas will be supported by examples from American History, including the American Revolution, the Civil War, the French and Indian War, and French Revolution, through recognizing patterns throughout history, in-depth analysis, and factual evidence.…

War is an organized and often prolonged conflict that is carried out by states or non-state actors. It is characterized by extreme violence, social disruption and economic destruction. War should be understood as an actual, intentional and widespread-armed conflict between political communities, and, therefore, is defined as a form of political violence or intervention. The set of techniques used by a group to carry out war is known as warfare. Ethics of war can be a sensitive and debated subject. I believe that there are times when a war is justified. Three topics I would like to discuss are: what kind of virtues do people in the military…

    War in this decade

War is one of the subjects that have become a main topic of concern for the world. Since mankind has existed, so has war. It has been the cause of destruction of villages and countries, humans, environment, and the way we live and think. Wars have changed people physically, emotionally and psychologically. It is one of the main factors contributing to psychological problems in most of the third world countries where war is an everyday thing. Nations and their leaders have gone to war for land, natural resources, wealth and sometimes even hatred. Over the centuries people have learned to just fight even better, to use smarter weapons than before, but not to learn to stop it from happening. The leaders of such nations do not realize that they are killing humanity to gain resources and land for the purpose of showing their strength. What they do not realize is that it the resources they are trying to gain at the cost of human life will not last forever, nor will the leaders who make these decisions. War has been a contribution to the deterioration of environment, increase in diseases in human health, and a contribution to numerous negative effects on children. The environment has been disturbed by the wars over time, but the nuclear weapons have been the most destructive to the atmosphere. War has led to increases in different types of physical and psychological diseases over the centuries. Most of these psychological diseases are worse in children of war. To the governments and leaders war is a way to spread democracy, to get humans their rights and to save the world from further nuclear destruction. Actually war is humans killing other fellow humans, innocent dying in front of their loved ones, children being used in wars for spying and fighting, and children seeing their parents dying in front of them. It is not to spread fairness, but it is an act that is teaching humans to hate each other over things that are not going to last forever. War is the end of…
