All things considered, when you see an unwanted person your first instinct is to run but you know you were raised better than that. You can visualize your mom scolding you for not saying hi. Might as well get it over with.
Truthfully, growing up Hispanic around so many tios, tias, primos and primas can be hell. You learn a lot from them. Learn new vocabulary. Yet you can’t use the new cool vocabulary without getting told not to say such things or get chile in your mouth.

I say this because I have noticed today’s society lacks these basic morals.
A lot of people including myself doesn’t always say hello when I see someone familiar in public. It’s just a basic manner we need to learn.
In our bill of rights, the first amendment we have the freedom of speech. People speak their mind and sometimes don’t have enough words to explain so they turn to the vulgar words. Shoot even kids curse. One curses and doesn’t even realize. But what if it slips out during church?
Today’s society is all about being “sexy”. Sexy in bikinis or no clothes at all. Social media is used often to share intimate photos. There are many perverts and pedophiles online.
Growing up in a Hispanic household there is a lot of rules. Honestly you could be in your 30’s with you own family but your mom will tell you what to do with no hesitate like if you still are a child. Therefore, raise your kids correctly because they are the new
