Fast food. You see it on every corner and every street. But, the government wants it to stop. They want to make it so that they control what fast food is and how it should work. I believe that the government should have no control over our diets and that we should make our own decisions because every time the government tries to tell people something you only have control for some time before they stop listening to you. Ever since the Healthy Hunger Free act came into play no one wanted to eat school lunches. I would know because at my school, Health Sciences High, mostly all of the students there would rather waste money on fast food rather than going downstairs to the cafeteria where the food is $1.50, compared to …show more content…
We get so many jobs from these fast food restaurants that if we got rid of them all, there would be more homeless people than you could count. Also what makes you say that if the government decides to ban fast food altogether, what makes you say that they won’t find a way to still keep fast food alive. look at some things people do illegally, like human trafficking and killing animals. Those things are so illegal, but people still do it. You ban whatever you want, but there will be those few people who make sure you can get it without getting caught. But then again, what is there to ban ? The food they sell is what you can buy at a store or make at home. An example would be like french fries or a cheeseburger. You can make it at home by cutting some potatoes and cooking a patty on a grill. Is there really going to be a solution to the problem? My final reason is that we have the right to make our own decisions. look at the bill of rights. You can’t tell us what to say, but now you are making us not have the right to eat? There is no reason why you should make a say at what we eat when we see a lot of things that are bad and yet, the government doesn’t care about those. It just doesn’t make sense. Also you say smoking is bad yet you still allow it. It is way worse than just eating junk
