I used to eat school lunches until I found a bug in my food and the food started making me sick. They also don´t fill you up because I always went to class hungry after lunch. They should add more healthy foods. A look at one school’s burger that had twenty-six ingredients and they contained disodium inosinate, a flavor additive that can spike heart rate. It also contained caramel color, which contains sulfites and ammonia. Labdoor Magazines is a health and science magazine company. They explained that processing carbohydrates with ammonia under high temperatures can produce a toxic that can cause cancer. This means they are serving processed food to students that have bad ingredients in them. This means that food suppliers are adding artificial flavors and coloring that is not very healthy instead of healthy organic food. If schools and school food suppliers changed and had more organic ingredients their food would be more healthy. School lunches should change because they are unhealthy and do not taste good. School lunch companies and school districts need to change what they are serving so kids can enjoy their lunch while it is still healthy because not many people enjoy their lunches. They can do this by adding salad bars or hiring chefs. School suppliers should add more organic ingredients and less artificial flavoring and coloring. This is important because students should enjoy their meal while it is healthy at the same time.
