Dear Mr. Goodkind,
I am writing this letter to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your book and how much I appreciate the time and effort you put down in the making of it.

I find your book to be very well written with great passion and creativity from your side. From the very beginning I found it hard to put the book away and the further I read the better it became. With a great story line and its detailed descriptions in every moment it resulted in a dramatic and enthralling adventure. Furthermore the main characters were all very special and I got really attached to all 3 of them. I find it that your descriptions and their personalities made it more realistic and made the story so much better. However the one that got to me the most has to be Kahlan with her stunning personality and with her big secret that she is keeping and the struggles that it impales her with just makes her so much more interesting and fun to follow throughout the book. Even though Richard is the hero of the book I still fin Kahlan and the position she have got herself into and the way she handles it to be more interesting. The book as a whole is one of the best books I have ever read and probably will ever read. And I believe that all the time you spent on this book was time well spent and I hope you feel the same way.
I would most appreciate it if you were to answer this letter and I would also love to know how long it took you to write the book and where you got your inspiration from to characters like Kahlan and Richard? And what was it that made you decide to become an author?

I am looking forward to be hearing from you. Thank you very much.

Yours

Aside from the confusion I had, the only problem that I had with your novel was that it was a little slow in the middle. I understand that the book can’t be constantly moving at a fast pace, but I thought that there could be a minor, adventurous activity, where the book was sluggish. I only have that one critique for you and usually I have many more, therefore I think you did a tremendous job with this book. I think you should…

My response to Leslie Norris “Blackberries” Story “you don’t do much” and “I do what I can” An argument in this story between a poor father and a scornful mother starts over a child’s cap filled with Blackberries. In my perspectives, it is disappointing when you unintentionally do a favor to make someone happy, and for an honest mistake it turns against you. That is what pretty much I describe the father in this story. I agreed with the fact that, the mother was upset about the ruined cap that she bought for her son, but with all what happen to the sympathetic father she shouldn’t act this way especially in front of his child and for what he did for her. “it is expensive enough” the mother said to the man in the clothes shop where she…

I think this book was one of the best books I have read. It’s funny, has action, and is serious at moments. It was written really well and kept me entertained the whole time reading it. The only thing I would change is at the end of the book it ends to fast and doesn’t really explain everything I was thinking of. Other than that it was an awesome book.…

First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Sara McGee and I am a student of Homer-Center High School. I absolutely love to read, which brings me to the main reason why I am writing this letter. Out of the books I have read in my life, I can truthfully tell you that The Fault in Our Stars was one of my top favorites. I got done with it in two days because I simply could not put it down. I had a lot of people tell me how amazing this book was and how I would love it, so I tried it out. I thanked all of the people that recommended it to me whenever I was finished, and now I am…

Hi, I don’t want to exhaust you with things about me because well… everybody skips that part. But I assure you, this the very exact reason why I’m writing this letter. As a kid, I never liked reading. Fiction, or nonfiction—I never could visualize a picture in my head. People tell me to read more to improve this mindset; that’s sort of a paradox for me, how can a kid improve imagination by reading a book where he can’t picture anything? I guess I understanded a few books, but it’s minute compared to other people. I kept on reading books I didn’t enjoy and consequently, it hindered with my reading skills even more. But anyways, enough boring things about me so I want to just I guess-- thank you, for your Calvin and Hobbes series. I enjoyed…

Coming into this class I was aware that my writing abilities were not the most resilient. I attempted this class my senior year in high school, but due to lack of motivation and laziness I received a D for the class. Seeing that I needed to retake a class that was not particularly my most successful topic pushed me to achieve success. I established a goal, to pass the class with at least a B, and I am only one more paper away from doing that. I’m writing this letter to tell you how my writing has changed for the better over the semester, and the obstacles that I had to overcome.…

It's a pleasure for me to be here today with you guys. When I started to put together this speech, I could recall rapidly the main reason why I became a writer, specially a fiction author. Many of the facts that are included in the novel are not certain or accurate; the novel “The things they carried” is a fiction novel, I did not study history nor education, I am just a writer. Many of my days are basically writing different stories, some shorter than others, and not all of them are published, this is what I do for living and I the hobby that I enjoy the most.…
