FREE HUGS CAMPAIGN http://youtu.be/NHfRn1A1dG8 Life is full of ups and downs It may take a life time for a person to actually “settled” down with contentment that he had acquired and live life to the fullest otherwise he will endeavour and persevere the many setbacks which life can be entangled with and one person who had gone thru’ many numerous personal difficulties was Mr Juan Mann, who felt very lonely and depressed at one stage of his life when his family and friends had moved out from his hometown and decided to campaign for the free hugs
The free hug campaign is a social movement involving individuals who offer hugs to strangers in public places .These hugs are demonstrated and given randomly to whosoever as an act of kindness and selflessness to make others feel good
This campaign was form on 1 December 2004 in Australia and eventually became famous internationally with the Free Hugs Month being celebrated on the first Saturday of every July
There could be many theories which will support the desires of Juan Mann to initiate the campaign This campaign encompassed Daniel Levinson theory of Adulthood, Freud’s Humanistic Approaches-Traits, Motivations theories and Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs.
