Future job
My family and other people I spend much time with, have always influenced me. I think that is why I, as long as I can remember, wanted to become an attorney or an engineer. About everyone in my family have taken high education, so I will most likely do the same.
A person that has always been around is my grandfather, and he is an engineer. My first thought about his profession is that it is very demanding and you will always have something to do. There are many types of engineers you can be within the field, therefore you have a lot to choose from. Most engineers have good salaries, though it is hard-earned money. Long hours and though work is a part of their everyday.
To become an engineer you have to finish high school with good grades in almost every subject, especially math and science. After high school you should get into the best possible school, due to that in the future there will be a competition between people since lots of people are educated in the profession.
I have also wanted to become an attorney. I know for a fact that it is lots of work; my dads cousin worked 16-18 hours a day for a year, though it really paid off. You have the pleasure to help individuals, groups or organizations with their problems, and that will make you feel good about what you do. If you are good, than the salary is good. After high school you have to study law to become a lawyer, then you should take some years with extra school and practical work to become an attorney. One bad thing about this profession is that you have to work in the country you have studied due to the laws being different from country to country.
Both jobs are hard and you need to be dedicated considering it’s lots of work and long hours. Personally I will probably aim toward engineering, as I would like to be able to travel or live abroad.

The only reason he got into the field of engineering was because his uncle took him. He taught Benjamin how to survey the land. After some time had passed Wright had gotten some connections with the English civil engineer William Weston. Then Wright had began being interested with civil engineering. Because of tthe War of 1812, English and American men weren’t on the greatest of terms.…

The career I picked for this project is a Biomedical Engineer. Biomedical engineers are employed in hospitals, in research facilities of educational and medical institutions, in teaching, and in government regulatory agencies. They often serve a coordinating or interfacing function, using their background in both engineering and medical fields. When working in a hospital the biomedical engineer may provide advice on the selection and use of medical equipment, as well as supervising its performance testing and maintenance. They may also build customized devices for special health care or research needs. While working at a research institution they supervise laboratories and equipment, and participate in or direct research activities in collaboration with other researchers with such backgrounds as medicine, physiology, and nursing. Some biomedical engineers are technical advisors for marketing departments of companies and some are in management positions. Some biomedical engineers also have advanced training in other fields. For example, many biomedical engineers also have an M.D. degree, thereby combing an understanding of advanced technology with direct patient care or clinical research.…

Mechanical Engineering students should expect to find careers in manufacturing, fabrication, research and development, and service industries. The students should be very capable in mathematics and the physical sciences. This is essential to be successful in any engineering field. Mechanical engineers should be mechanical inclined and should be able to think “outside the box”. The students should be a great problem solver and critical thinker, and also be a calm and laid back person that can handle a lot of stress and can operate under pressure and get the job done. They will work closely with civil and design engineers most likely. Mechanical engineers design and develop tools for all the other engineering fields to use on there job. Mechanical engineers also develop and design the products that we use in our everyday life such as cars, planes, and pretty much anything that has moving parts was probably designed by a mechanical engineer.…

Since the mid 1800s the government has debated the perennial question ‘what is the status of engineers in society?’ Even as recently as 5 years ago an new report was commissioned by the government to ask the very same question as almost their fellow MPs asked almost 150 years ago. The question itself is problematic as the very definition of an engineer is still hotly debated. It must be understood however that engineers vitally contribute to global challenges; and their hard work and innovation directly powers the success of the Great British and European Markets.…
