Chasing the Ghost of Chicago There are many great people that has been fortunate enough to display such athleticism in the National Basketball Association also known as the NBA. Ever since Michael Jordan people refuse to think that there will ever be anyone better then him, but the writer of this essay will ensure you that there is hope of dethroning of the title of being the Greatest of all time also known as G.O.A.T. Lebron James is the next thing to greatness; he is nicknamed “The King”, which his nickname alone describe his excellence and his greatness and what he mean to the game. A king symbolizes loyalty to his peers and being a man of the people; leadership in providing confidence in the people that you are leading are in good hands; and confidence that no matter how bad things may seem that you are making the right decisions to lead you to the light at the end of the tunnel. Lebron James was destined for greatness even in his rookie year and acknowledging such he was rewarded Rookie of the Year. Lebron James has been in the lasts 6 NBA Finials with 2 different teams; and has a good chance at keeping that streak going. Lebron James is a 3-time NBA Champion and was also Most Valuable Player in all 3. Lebron James has been voted as the best player in the world 4 times. Lebron James is a 12-time all-star. What made people realize he is the best player of this generation was when Lebron James went back Home to Cleveland and achieved the unthinkable. Despite being down 3-1 in the NBA Finals to a Golden State team that had 73 wins with only 9 losses; and in the regular season has not lost a game back to back. Lebron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a championship despite how well the Golden State Warriors did that
