These watches gave you the smart notifications right on your wrist via Bluetooth to your smart phone. It also combined the activity tracking and sleep tracking with the watch. It would show you how many steps per day you are taking as well as track your movement while you sleep and upload onto the Garmin Connect app and track it over time. What made the watch even better for the runner though is that it had all these features that were new to technology as well as a multisport option. This multi-sport would allow the user to use it for running, swimming, biking, and even golfing. No other watch at the time had this option and at a price of $220 which is unbeatable still today compared to the comparable $280 for the Apple Watch that doesn’t have all of these features, the Polar M400 which only is for running, and the Fitbit Surge which is not as accurate and is $250. Garmin has proved many times to my family and friends that they are superior to any other competitor in every division. When I am back home in West Palm Beach, I work in a running store and Garmin is our number one selling running watch. Out of the 3 years that I have worked at the running store, I have only sold 8 non-Garmin watches, and 3 of them were returned later to buy a Garmin watch instead.
