GAY MARRIAGE
“God does not make mistakes, so trust that when something end ups in your past, they are there for a reason”. Gay marriage has already become a hot topic than it ever was in the past. There are many contrasting opinions about homosexuality. However, there is nothing wrong with gay or straight marriage because it is a natural basic human right. Furthermore, gay marriage should be accepted because marriage is chosen by people who are in love, and homosexual couples would be an acceptable way to aid orphaned children and give them loving homes.
Recently, we can easily to see that gay marriage is still a hot debate in the United States when only 19 states have legalized same-sex marriage. During Barack Obama’s second election, he received a huge wave of support for his promise to help same-sex marriage gain legality. Ten years ago, gay marriage was really unacceptable to Americans, but people fought and still continue to fight to make it so that same-sex marriage could become normal. The United States have come a long way from 2004, when Massachusetts was the first and only state in the country to legalize same-sex marriage. However, many people say that the states should not make same-sex marriage legal. The first reason why same-sex marriage should be legal is because marriage is a matter of love. If a couple falls in love with each other, they should be able to go and get their marriage license. Sexuality is not an acceptable reason for a couple to not be able to get married. People cannot decide for whom they can love, they just “love.” In my opinion,
