Analysis of Business Specialties In this part of the assignment the members of Team B define the specific consulting firm they will create. They find a name for the company, provide a brief description of the firm’s activities, discuss the services the company will offer to clients, and explain the types of problems and issues the firm will address. The team also includes a statement about why the company is suited to the skills of all team members. The purpose of this analysis is to position the company in a specific market segment for which the team members expect a need for consulting services.
Name of the Firm The name of Team B’s consulting firm is “Teamer Consulting of America.” This is a consulting firm that deals with general management consulting. The name Teamer was selected because of the word “Team.” Because the team is created of five people, it seemed appropriate to go with a name that represented everyone contributing his or her skills to the firm. The members represent the name, a team, and who we will help with our consulting, which is America.

America is a consulting firm that deals with general management consulting. Armed with five employees, Teamer Consulting intends to help organizations perfect the general management within his or her organization. The employees of Teamer possess the following skills that will be offered to many organizations that seek the firms’ assistance: • Critical and Analytical Thinking • Organization and Computer Skills • Quality Decision-Making and Troubleshooting Skills • Counseling and Strategic Planning Skills • Negotiation, Researching, and Language Skills
With a team that possess skills like these, any organization that make good use of the firm will benefit from what we offer.
Types of Problems and Issues Addressed Teamer Consulting of America is in the business to help organizations improve their productivity and performance, primarily through an analysis of the organizations development of plans for better productivity, and business problems. Teamer knows that the general state our economy is currently in, and how it has affected each sector of our industry. Our team is ready to deliver our promise by offering fresh innovative ideas to jump start any organization. Companies want to reduce costs without sacrificing productivity, and quality. Teamer Consulting of America has hired knowledgeable consultants which have extensive knowledge in helping address issues, and formulating solutions business demand. We prioritize our responsibility to our clients’ issues by placing him or her before our own interest.
Services Offered As a general management consulting firm, we will offer various services to our clients. Those services will include strategic planning, critical thinking, proper communication channels, active listening skills, proper employee counseling, training, proper customer service, leadership, and proper evaluation and outcomes. The services will include training manuals, hands-on training, and live scenarios to prepare managers and leads for positions in management.
Suited Firm for Members Skills Statement Due to all of the individual skills combined, there are many different areas in which this firm can contribute.
Different issues may arise through software, personnel, organizational structure, quality issues, testing issues, and etc., (TAC, 2004, p. 1). All of these possible dilemmas listed above are dilemmas that can be handled by this firm through implementation of each individual skills being applied to the problem at hand. All of these dilemmas are examples of general consulting and is why there are scattered skills between each individual in this firm to ensure that all tasks can be handled in a smooth and timely
manner.

In this assignment the members of Team B defined the consulting firm they intend to create. The name of the company will be Teamer Consulting of America. The combined skills of the team members who comprise Teamer Consulting of America range from critical and analytical thinking over technical and organizational expertise to negotiation and troubleshooting skills. With this expertise, the company plans to help organizations improve productivity and performance with the goal to reduce costs without sacrificing productivity and quality.
