A generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), is an anxiety disorder that is characterized with uncontrollable, excessive worry about everyday issues, like school, friends, health, work, or money. This condition of mental health can make it difficult to concentrate. Excessive thinking of certain thoughts that reflect worry is a symptom of this disorder. Generalized anxiety disorder is chronic. It can last for years and even be a lifelong condition.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder, commonly called OCD, is persistent thoughts that are composed of fear or worry. However, these thoughts lead to their repetitive, compulsive behavior of the person. With this condition, the patient can be unaware that they have an excessive, compulsive urge. This may include an urge of washing their hands more frequently, as in every five to thirty minutes. If a room is not situated for the way of the mind of the patient, they will feel the need to want to rearrange the room excessively, until it fits their manner.
