Panic disorder is a condition which someone has feeling of terror that strike suddenly and repeatedly with no warning.. Social anxiety disorder involves overwhelming worry and self-conscious about everyday social situations. The worry often centers on a fear of being judged by others, or behaving in a way that might cause embarrassment or lead to ridicule. Specific phobias are an intense fear of a specific object or situation, such as snakes, spiders, heights, or flying. Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is a disorder that involves excessive, unrealistic worry and tension, even if there is little or nothing to provoke the anxiety. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that's triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event.
