Seipert (2014) states work value is a principal or standard that is held in high esteem by an individual and is related to all aspects of one's personal and work life. Work stress leads to psychological anxiety, depression, lower self-‐esteem and decreased job satisfaction. Work and family relationships become more intense from workplace stress resulting in hostile words or actions (Farrell & Geist-‐Martin, 2005). Thus, management should take good care of employees’ wellness, understand the work value of each different generation and carry out related policy to maximize the employee benefits.
This essay describes and discusses the four generations, which are Seniors, Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millennials. Almost all the Seniors have already leaved the working place, Baby Boomers,
