Genetic Cloning: Can Humans Work In The Future?
As the human race we have come far technologically, we have found out how organisms work, how our planet works, and how our bodies work.We are now on the verge of creating and producing perfect babies. Babies that have no problems concerning genes. The problem is, do we really want to play with nature, do we really want to mess with the natural order? I personally think we should give it a try, the possibilities could help us in the event of a major disaster. Like in the movie GATTACA, they depicted how perfect humans would work in the future. This movie could be how genetic advances could end up, or it could start wars. In this paper there will be pro and cons of genetic developments with a summary.
We're going to start with the pros. First, It could eliminate all bad human genes. As humans reproduce continually, there is also an increase in damage to their DNA lines, creating defective and mutated genes, which could be eliminated by cloning healthy human cells. Second genetic cloning could help us as a species. Cloning humans is an innovative method that is an extremely powerful tool to bring

Not only that plants and animals can be revived with cloning, but also humans can be cloned to offer potential benefits to other people who are living. Next it could advance our medical technology. For people who became quadriplegic due to horrific traffic accidents and professional athletes who tore their ACLs, recovery time could be long or it is even impossible for them to get back to their original state. However, cloning their own cells can lower recovery time and true healing could occur, or remaking major organs for transplants. Finally there is “Baby shopping”, the ability to pick your child's physical traits. Whether it be height, eye color, or even
sex.
Second, there are the cons of clones. First is risks in possible mistakes and cloning faults. As older cells are often used to create human clones, it is possible that their imprinted age could be adopted by the growing embryos, which can then create some premature aging issues and, potentially, even premature death. Not to mention that if more than we want goes into the baby it might look brutal. Second, there is the problem of “playing GOD”. interfering with nature is against many people's beliefs. They said that this form of interference is decidedly wrong and can lead to a domino effect, which means that other attributes of life could be changed or altered negatively as a result. If genes are modified to create beings who are smarter than others, the average person will not have a place in society.
