Goal Of An Administrator Case Study

What is the purpose or goal of an Administrator?
Interviewee’s Answer:
Kristie states the purpose or goal of an Administrator in her case she is responsible for all areas of the clinic. No matter the outcome whether good or bad the responsibility falls on her shoulders. She is also the liaison between the staff, the administrative staff, the nurses and the physicians making sure each patient is treated fair, and their medical care is being taken care of without any interruptions.
Critical Reflection:
After my interview with Kristie she has a lot of responsibilities that she is faced with in a course of a day and week. But again as stated earlier she never mention during the interview things that she does to keep her grounded and focus.
Therefore you are stuck with having to reschedule the patient, who has wasted gas coming for their appointment. You are trying to service the patient by finding ways to help make the situation better. As the Administrator she is on the front line therefore all complaints are directed to her. Another challenge she is faced with is patient who have large balances that are past due, and they could not pay. Because of policies they would have to turn them away unless it was an emergency situation. Kristie states she would feel bad because her hands were
She states she had to multi task and make sure each patient from both clinics were being taken care of throughout the clinic. It was a very challenging time because it was a bit much for one person, trying to manage two different clinics which meant double work on top of making sure the clinic was functioning above board. At the same time making sure the new facility will be prepared for the new services they will be providing like Gastroenterological, neurology and pulmonary. Services that the clinic were not able to provide due to its size. Kristie felt like the world would be a better place once the new clinic is operational. Because they would be able to better meet the needs of the patients, by servicing more patients with the new specialty services that will be available to them. The new facility will be made available to them so they will not have to travel for long distances outside of Katy and Richmond area to see a doctor who specialize in various illnesses.
