God of Carnage
This is my first play I ever been to, and I’m glad it was this one. I really enjoyed it and I even took my younger brother because he is into film and theatre and he found it very great play meanwhile I’m an art geek who does not know anything about theatre. The storyline was magnificent because I love that they show these tense arguments and reveal multiple layers of the each character meanwhile everyone was pressing each other their mixed emotions the audience can get dark pleasure in watching them doing so and keeping us more interested in seeing more of each character dark sides even though there trying to convey their discreet intentions. Veronica at first seems like the most compassionate person of all the group and trying to fix the problem of her son’s injury caused by the child of Alan and Annette and trying to convey them that they should do something to their son’s actions. Towards end of the play she makes a statement that Alan and Annette are horrible parents and people, period. The actress really did a great job portraying it her voice made it perfect and rest of the play she tries and tries to keep her good manners in under control. Meanwhile her husband Michael in the very beginning tries to create peace with the boys and the Raleigh’s but as the story progresses he makes racial slurs, saying that raising children is just something that wastes time and a horrible experience, and don’t forget he let a pet hamster into the street! He was very interesting character and the actor was absolutely my favorite he just made it more intriguing with his facial expressions and his personality as well. The actress who played as Annette had a very great voice and for myself I like anyone who had a voice that fits the character and it totally did. Alan had a very stereotypical type in the group like he was those untruthful people who you did not want to be with and with his annoying cellphone completed his character, but he was the most philosophical one even though he was kind of a sexist with his
