Character, service, leadership, and scholarship are four of the most important qualities that people have. The expression and utility of these characteristics can help shape the world for generations to come. A person’s willingness to help others is extremely important. The service someone does for their community reflects on their values and compassion for the less fortunate. Something that goes alongside service is leadership; a natural aptitude for leading and inspiring. The aforementioned subject is important when working on goal oriented projects and activities. Scholarship is also important; the drive for knowledge and understanding is fundamental in and out of the classroom. A proper education is incomplete if it is just shown in a learning environment. Finally, character is what sets someone apart from the rest of the population.

Good character and strong moral values make excellent citizens.That being said; character, service, leadership, and scholarship are all qualities that should not only be showcased for entrance into an honor society, but should be shown every day of the year.
