Good Day Tutor Support Essay
Good day Tutor Support,

I am writing this letter concerning my absences last January 23 up to January 26 2017. It was around 1:30 pm when I messaged Tutor Support on Skype that I have to cancel my lessons for the rest of the day and the day after (January 24, 2017). I was advised by my pediatrician to rush my daughter to the hospital due to the fact that she has been vomiting and suffering from severe diarrhea. On the 25th of January, we were still confined in the hospital but was later released at 8:30 pm in the evening.
On the 26th of January 2017, I reconfirmed the 208's I have incurred resulting to the opening of my morning slots. Later that day, I did not consider opening the rest of the 208's I have incurred due to the fact that

There have been semesters that I haven’t tried my hardest to complete my courses as I should’ve been prepared. At Forrest Junior College, I have learned and experienced many roles as a student attending there and with this suspension on my hands, makes me feel that I didn’t do all I was liable to do for my success. This letter is to provide the reasons why I failed to do what was needed resulting me to be put on academic suspension and allowing me to tell what can be expected from me, so this matter won’t happen again.…

If one child is praised (for example, for tidying up) others are often influenced to copy or join in so that they, too, will receive praise and attention. For young children, the reward must be immediate so that they understand the link between it and the positive behaviour. It is of little value to promise a treat or reward in the future. Similarly, star charts and collecting points are not appropriate for children younger than five years old. There are problems associated with rewards in that some children and young people may behave in a particular way purely to receive the reward rather than from an understanding of the need to consider safety, others and their environment or enjoying what they have achieved for its own sake. The type of reward also needs to be considered; for example, is it desirable for children and young people to be given sweets as rewards? Some parents may have strong views about this. Rewards might work in the short term, but do not always succeed in the long term. They might even undermine lifelong learning by encouraging children and young people to seek reward, rather than be disposed to learn because something is…

1.1. In our nursery we have a behaviour policy on promoting positive behaviour; it has the guidelines/code of conduct we use to promote positive behaviour. The aims of the behaviour policy is to create a consistent environment that expects, encourages and recognises good behaviour and one in which everyone feels happy and safe. The behaviour policy is the main policy on promoting positive behaviour in the nursery and we should all be aware of the policies as part of our ongoing professional development so that we can manage children’s behaviour in a consistent way. The policy sets the boundaries of behaviour expected from the children and also the behaviour expected from…

Homeschooled students learn better because they are in an environment they are comfortable in. Homeschoolers believe the home is the safest, most secure environment in which a student can learn best. Homeschoolers learn in an atmosphere that is free from the teasing, taunting and bullying that can leave children with lifelong scars. Children who are homeschooled have time to mature emotionally, physically and academically without having to worry about facing mockery and negative peer pressure from friends. When learning at home, a student does not have to deal with peer pressure or with fitting in with the popular groups. A student can just be their own self. This gives the student the opportunity to focus on the lessons being taught and on…

School counselors in Hawaii are not required to have a masters degree, however this may preclude those without a masters degree from being able to administer, score, and interpret some assessments (Naugle, 2009; State of Hawaii, 2015). In 2012 HTSB adopted new standards for professional school counselors (State of Hawaii, 2015). Throughout the standards there is mention of school counselors using and interpreting different types of assessments. For instance, standard 3 specifies that school counselors provide accurate and relevant interpretation of assessment data; standard 9 specifies that school counselors use program assessments to evaluate the school counseling program (State of Hawaii, 2015).…
