Good or Bad Driver

Driving is an essential part of our everyday lives. Wether you are driving a vehicle yourself, being driven or observing from a residential street another driver; you are sure to witness some good and bad ones. Many of todays drivers have dangerous driving habits, you do not have to travel far to see people with risky driving techniques on the road. There are also good drivers out there, those who obey traffic rules and are considerate of the other vehicles around them. A good driver always cares about the safety precautions one should take on the road; you could never be too careful. Wearing a seat belt is a must for them. Statistics show that wearing a safety belt can prevent death in about half of the accidents that occur in our country. A good driver also never drives in a rush, they allow themselves plenty of extra time to reach wherever their destination is and allow time for emergencies or even traffic jams if they were to happen. They can be more relaxed while driving by giving themselves time. Concentrating is also a trait a good driver has; they have a clear mind before getting behind the wheel. A responsible driver gets good rest and does not drive for long periods of time without taking a break. A bad driver knows that not wearing a safety belt can affect their families and loved ones, and they still choose to not wear it. A bad drivers also just does not care about time. They race at incredible speeds on the road tailgating just to reach the red light and end up sitting there for minutes; always in a hurry to get nowhere. Driving tired is also a trait these drivers are known for; they risk the safety of themselves and others on the highway. It is well recognized that if you drive tired, the chances of you crashing dramatically increase. A bad driver can also include one who does not have a well working vehicle. Keeping your car in good working order is important for not only your safety, but also but the safety of the other

I have found from past schools in Orange County display a type of barrier between different social groups. Often it is frowned up for two people from different social groups to become close friends or go on a date. This theory is especially highlighted in our films today, two people stuck in the middle of the social standard. Just like Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and juliet show us what can happen when the barrier is destroyed. Through love bloodshed and violence the story of two people is told especially through two different variations of the story one directed by Franco Zeffirelli and the other by Baz Luhrmann each choose to portray the story differently. In Zeffirelli's adaptation of R+J he focuses on the verdurous, romantic, young forbidden love; where as Luhrmann's adaptation focuses on impulse, passionate, violent, spontaneous actions.…

The first concern drivers should have while driving is for the conditon of the road. Road conditions change on a daily basis due to the weather and the time of day. A good driver knows that if it is raining or snowing outside the roads will be slick. Therfore they should drive not only slower but also more cautious. Another factor that effects the condition of the road is the kind of road. Rural roads tend to be more narrow and less maintained so you shoud look out for pot holes. Each kind of road should be treated differently because they all have different dangers.…

I have been noticing each and every day that there are more and more distracted drivers on the road. These drivers may be distracted by their radio, an in depth conversation with a passenger, children laughing or screaming in the backseat or even reading or sending text messages while driving. All of which can be potentially dangerous to the operator, their passengers, an unsuspecting pedestrian or other vehicle operators on the road. As a potential victim to an accident caused by distracted drivers, I am very concerned as we all should be. So the question I ask now is how can an operator safely drive while distracted? Is the convenience and time saved worth the dangers or deaths that can be caused to yourself or others? In order to safely operate a vehicle it requires a great deal of concentration, coordination, and quick reflexes to avoid potential accidents.…
