Graduate level writing is essential in all classes in graduate school to be successful in graduating with your Master Degree as well as obtaining a fabulous job in your field of study. Unlike under graduating writing, graduate writing should catch the reader’s attention instantly. The reader should be able to understand all the characteristics the writer is describing. In order to do this, graduate level writing should be clear and precise without any errors. The writer should be able to captivate their own ideas and beliefs to the reader explaining what the research consist of. In order to be successful in graduate level writing, the writing has to research the thesis of the paper thoroughly to better understand the topic of the paper. …show more content…
Three of the most common errors used for plagiarism are failure to quote or give credit for the words and ideas of others, copying an article from the Internet and paraphrasing poorly. Too often these are common mistakes that writers takes for granted especially quoting poorly. They believe they will not be caught and when they are caught, they are in denial. Writers will put quotation marks around only part of the quotation but not the entire quote. I have been guilty of using quotation poorly. I believe one of the hardest things for me will be readjusting my schedule since it has been several years since I attended school. I am determining to be successful in my classes. I realize that being a wife and having a full time job will be a challenge but in order to get my task completed, I will have prioritize my time and list different strategies to assist me with helping everything fall in place. I will set aside Tuesday through Thursday as well as Sunday and Monday evening to complete my work
