Cross-functional teams could use their varying skills and expertise to decide the most effective way to fix potential problems. Since most self-managed teams are also cross-functional teams, the two types would coordinate well together.
3. If a union was established at Graeter’s, the experience of working at Graeter’s would hardly change. Graeter’s currently does a fantastic job protecting its employees. Offering many types of benefits, Graeter’s provides employees with life, medical, and disability insurance. Some Graeter’s employees already request certain salaries and Graeter’s fulfills their requests. Richard Graeter, CEO, says, “You’ve got to pay them well.
