The elderly has taken care of numerous generations and supported dozens of politicians. When it comes to their well being, who will be there to support them when they have a cold or simply need someone to talk to? In different societies, for instance, most countries in Asia and the Middle East, it is the family members’ duty to take care of their aging parents and grandparents. This results in, elderly people living happily with their families and their needs are fulfilled by their family. However, in modern socities they rely on the governement or the community to satisfy the needs of their loved ones. In the modern society of the 21st century where everyone seems to be busy with their own life and work. The family members do not have much time to spend with their older members. For instance, in a family where everyone works outside the home and often has no time to be together. Nevertheless, the older family members who are not any longer physically and mentally well are commonly sent to old folks homes.
With all of these things in mind, who will eventually be in control of tending to our counselors, guardian angels ,loving mothers and grandfathers.? Where will they go when in their time of need.? It is none other than the job of the family because blood is thicker than water and they are precious human beings who need to be loved.
