Ancient Greek heroes are often recognized as being brave. Today’s heroes don’t have to be brave to prove themselves. Today’s heroes are seen as humble, alert people. We are no special beings, just ordinary people with the will to do something good for others. Ancient Greek weren’t so much selfless like today’s heroes are. Don’t think they were all selfish, because they were not; in our era we are not doing it for our own pride, but for the safety and health of others. In contrast, modern day heroes are caring compared to the Ancient Greeks. They take the time to see if they can meet someone or something needs, or if they can accompany someone. We don’t see or hear that in stories of the ancient heroes. Don’t mistaken the fact that even though they are heroes, doesn’t mean they have been equivalent all this
