Group Work Reflection Paper
50/50
When working on this project I made a point of working diligently on what I was assigned. I finished all of my work on time, and whenever the group requested adjustments, I made the necessary changes promptly. I was prepared to help edit other group members papers and even did so out of school when I deemed it necessary. I was candid about anything that needed changing, but tactful. If a group member suggested any extra drawings (as well as the crossword) I was the one to do it. I feel that I pulled my fair share of work and was a positive addition to the group.

Kaitlin was an excellent leader, she completed all of her assigned tasks well and on time. Additionally she helped settle any discrepancies in opinion, and insured the group accomplished everything we needed to in a reasonable time. She kept a good pace for editing and had a clear agenda of what to get done each day. She was an excellent group member that I would be happy to work with again.

Amaya completed all of the work that she needed to adequately and on time. While she was not extremely involved in the editing process, she still participated in group discussions most of the time. Her job was to make keep all people on task, but she was one of the few to actually get distracted. Overall

When we asked to make edits to her advertisements she took note of them and ended making the adjustments in the final paper (she was the layout editor). She was not incredibly involved in the editing process, and became distracted at multiple points through the process. Additionally her Sydney Carton Article was 100 words short on it's due date, but once we had made revisions to it and we required her to rewrite some sections, she made the necessary changes within a day. The formatting of the newspaper was done on time, and the group had a chance to make any last revisions to it that we desired before it was printed. She completed her role

Natasha did do this, but I think some members of the group lacked a little urgency when doing their work. Natasha, Adam and I worked very hard in trying to put together a detailed and satisfactory presentation for our product, having to do some other peoples work to make sure it was done. Michael, worked well but didn’t really turn up in class which made it difficult for us to know what exactly work he had done. Becky and Joe didn’t really make much contribution to the group, Becky put together some of the advertising and did a sufficient amount, but Joe did nothing to contribute to the presentation. Overall, the main outcome of how the team thought I contributed was good. They said that I worked well to bring together everyone’s information to create the business plan and that I helped them with anything they were struggling with. Myself, I thought that I could have worked a little harder on the business plan and make sure that it was in complete detail, but it was hard when I didn’t quite know what everyone had…

The most common pathway by which patients can access the TB service includes referrals from GP surgeries, accident and emergency, laboratory microbiology, hospital wards and other hospital specialties such as HIV (Gum clinic), rheumatology and paediatrics. TB services have one designated referral number, fax, email address and contact address. The care pathway for patients who show signs and symptoms of TB will require a number of investigations, which will include a Mantoux Skin test, when a small amount of Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) is injected into the arm and the results will be read 48/72 hours later, a chest x-ray, sputum samples or a bronchoscopy. Once these investigations have been completed and if the results are positive for active TB, the patient will be commenced on TB treatment. It provided me with valuable knowledge about patient experience in the hospital and ways to improve it. His project also showed me the importance of team work. It will help met to analyze my nursing practice and care we provide and look for the solution to improve it. My partner and I worked very efficiently together. The only arguments that happened concerned which lines or stage directions were better suited for the scene. The work was evenly distributed between the two of us throughout the assignment. It only took us about three hours to finish along with some off-topic conversations and snack breaks in between. John was responsible for corrections of the dialogue, typing the finished copy, and turning it in. John worked very well with the tasks he had. I was responsible for creating the majority of the dialogue and writing both the rough draft and final copy (we were under the impression that a written final copy was what was supposed to be turned in).…

Group work demonstrates student’s capacity to communicate effectively, share and consider opinions, establish trust, analyse the group process, resolve conflicts and also develop their creativity. However, the constructive learning and beneficial results does not always come as a result of group work. For instance, if the students can not perceive the objective of the group work in order to achieve a common goal, or to lay back or believe that the work load can be relied on other members of…
