Guideline business 1: JD is a sports fashion retail company based in England with shops throughout the United Kingdom. JD got 5 owners and they are, Pent land Group, Sports Direct, Aberforth Partners, Fidelity Management, and other minor shareholders. JD was started at 1981. Since October 1996, JD was been listed on the London Stock Exchange. The letter JD stands for the initial name of the founder of the company John and David. JD is a National company which is being owned by 5 shareholders. And JD is a Public Limited Company. The job role of JD is that it offer some of the more exciting careers in retail. No other can offer you the kind of involvement, teamwork, progression or recognition, cashier and the worker. Cashier is used to sell a product by taking money.

Job roles

Assistant manager:
The role of assistant manager is a key position in any administrative environment. Persons working in this position fulfil the role of buffer between the management team above and the supervisors below. Assistant managers often make many of the day-to-day office decisions in lieu of the management. Therefore, it’s vital that those working in this role are self-confident and show plenty of initiative.
In addition, an assistant manager get paid £21000-£25000 per year.

Functional areas:

Human resources- The human resources or personnel department is responsible for hiring employees and ensuring that they get the proper training to perform their jobs. Human-resources directors or managers have employees fill out proper paperwork, including W-4 and I-9 forms.

Marketing- Marketing professionals determine the products that their companies introduce to the marketplace, often using marketing research surveys to determine what consumers need and want. This helps the company to better align its strategies. Marketing workers help to establish prices for products, based on manufacturing costs.

Customer services- Customer-service representatives answer calls or in-person
