Gummy Bear Essay
“Gummy bear” is an alternate name for cohesive silicone gel breast implants. This type of implant represents the most recent advance in breast augmentation and reconstruction surgery, combining safety, aesthetics and a natural feel. Gummy bear implants combine the safety of saline implants with the aesthetics and natural feel of traditional silicone breast implants.
Gummy bear implants are so named because the form is similar to that of gummy bear candy. So, you were talking to your dentist about dental implants and he mentioned you'll need bone grafts before any implants can be installed. Eating with implants on is no hassle at all, and feels the same way that real teeth would feel. The American Academy of Implant Dentistry observes that “Taste and enjoy the foods you love without hesitation. You can bite naturally and eat virtually anything you want” Eating with implants on is no hassle at all, and feels the same way that real teeth would feel. Dental implants do not adjust the patient to feel uncomfortable at all or affect their daily life, including their way of eating. Their way of eating remains completely normal, or it improves with the implant. Since these dentures are screwed in tightly and securely to the jaw, the patient will not be obligated to worry about them falling out or moving out of place while eating. Correspondingly, In Coastal Jaw’s view, “Patients who love to eat nuts, apples, corn on the cob, or steak will have a difficult time doing so with a bridge or denture that has not been anchored with dental implants “ (par. 2). Among the many books and films we have read and watched, I enjoyed Monkey Beach by Eden Robinson and Flight by Sherman Alexie the most. Both protagonists’ go through struggles while making decisions that will affect their own lives permanently. Zits, the main character of Flight, had a lonely and sad life, similar to Lisa from Monkey Beach. I believe that these two characters are similar through more than just misfortunes, but on a physical and a mental level as well. Both characters go through traumatic situations that shape them into sad and angry people. The similarities between Lisa and Zits lives show that character development is strongly affected by surrounding environments as well as the people you involve yourself with. It is clear that these two characters share strong wills, individualism, and experiences of loss.…
