or many years, the right to bear arms has always been a topic debated among many Americans. Some believed that guns were invented to keep themselves and the people they loved safe and protected. However, others believed that guns were built to destroy and kill! By allowing guns to be bought without tough regulations, we increase the chances of people being injured or getting killed just for an sense of safety. Gun control is a phrase that has many meanings to people across the world. There is no in-between about owning a gun and both sides have very good arguments to prove why guns should be allowed and why they should be banned. always been a topic debated among many Americans. Does having a gun really help you in times of need? Imagine being in your house during a robbery and being held at gun point. If you had the gun on you would you shoot? Not many people who even be able to pull the trigger and end someone else's life, even if it means protecting their own. Also, if you do choose to protect yourself and kill the robber will you be able to deal with some of the negative effects and images that come with it? Will you be able to know that you killed someone, even if it was for safety. Studies show that many young people who are exposed to gun violence may experience negative impacts in both short and a long term way. They might not be able to get the image of someone dead out of their heads and go crazy or feel disturbed
