Conceal gun laws allow citizens to practice their carrying rights wherever they go. Even though some guns are bought for personal use the people that carry them can help others if they are in great danger. The majority of citizens that fire a gun in public are firing for self defence or self preservation. “As long as the attacker was intending to cause harm and could harm you then it is ok to protect yourself by firing a weapon”(secondcalldefence.org). It is not a crime to fire a weapon for self defense depending on the situation. This act allows lawful citizens to carry guns in public in case of an emergency or self defence reason. Firing a gun in public is sometimes necessary and can be legal depending on certain situations.
Gun control laws cannot alter the rights to own a gun or to use one; furthermore, the second amendment states that it is illegal to infringe the right to own a gun. Under the second amendment the government is not allowed to take your guns away unless for evidence, no conceal permit, or illegally in possession.
