Why We Should Have The Right To Bear Arms Essay

Guns are used 2.5 million times a year in self defense. Armed citizens kill more criminals than police do. They shoot and kill twice as many in a year then they do. Which is something cool to know about concealed carry. Although, the second amendment of the US constitution allows citizens to bear arms, adults should have the right to concealed carry, because criminals are less likely to attack someone that might have a gun, criminals carry concealed carry regardless of legality,and carrying a concealed weapon could help stop all of the shooting sprees.
Although the US constitution allows citizens to bear arms, Adults should have the right to concealed carry. This is shown by, the right to concealed carry handguns is guaranteed by the second amendment by the US constitution (Should).This shows that at Dec. 11 a case struck down an illinois state law that broadly prohibited carrying a gun. Then they said the must involve a right to have a concealed gun in public, to have it ready for use and self-defense. Which says why you should have them. In addition to that, the government cannot guarantee the safety of its citizens. This is saying that
This is shown by, a former security guard with a concealed carry permit stopped a shooter from doing even more damage(Man). So by him having his permit he saved a bunch of lives right there. If he didn't have the permit there might have been a bunch more people that would have gotten hurt or even killed. By him being trained it probably helped him out to. Also there was another guy that entered a building and took several shots and while he was reloading a permit holder shot and killed him. Another case where a permit holder shot and killed another criminal. Since he had a permit he was able to take care So if there was no permit holder there he could have just kept shooting and killed a bunch more
