In Early America, our Founding Fathers declared that each man in America is entitled to a set of rights to protect themselves and from the government. The 1st and 2nd amendments guarantee each American is entitled to The Right to Bear Arms by “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."For protecting them from the gov’t. On an average day 31 Americans are murdered each day and 151 are assaulted by guns. That means 11,284 Americans die each year as a result of gun violence. 55,115, 55,115 is the number of Americans who do get assaulted with guns. Do these numbers seem right to you? Prior to the Port Arthur shooting there had a been 18 mass shooting in the country if Australia. After the Port Arthur attack, there had been 1 mass shooting where one man shot his wife children and himself.
