Gun Control Should Be Banned

The Second Amendment of The United States Constitution says, “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right for the People to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed”. Many politicians want gun control to supposedly make the world safer. Even though some politicians may argue that gun control limits violence, gun control should be banned because guns in the hands of noble people give protection and drop crime rates. Gun control, as defined in the Merriam-Webster, is “laws that control how guns are sold and used and who can use them” (Webster). This means that this regulation on guns limits who can own a firearm and it tries to rule over throw a gun is used. Gun control wants to influence crime and reduce the harmful effects of violence. “Proponents of gun control generally argue wide spread gun ownership increases the danger of gun-related crime, suicide, and accidental injuries. Opponents argue that gun control does not reduce such injuries and violence individual liberties”. Moreover, “a responsible, well-armed and trained citizenry is the best protection against domestic crime and the threat of foreign invasion” (ProCon).
