03/05/15 WHY STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE A LONGER GYM TIME… . Did you know that there was always a solution for students to improve their bad marks, learning abilities and engagement skills? For one thing, all of this is important for a student, moreover, gym has the same amount of importance to it. A student’s physical education can affect their health as well as there grades. Also it can have a big impact on the way they act in class. Accordingly, students should have more gym time.

Firstly, if students had a longer amount of gym time they would have more exercise. Teenage students should be getting at lease an hour of exercise each day to ensure good health. Gym time is a 30 minute period and most of it is wasted in instructions, arriving to gym and changing in change rooms. With regards to this students are only getting about 20 minutes of exercise. 20 minutes of gym isn’t worth doing. In other words, 20 minutes of gym wouldn’t affect their health as much. Medical science researchers have discovered that the human body should get 40 minutes of continues exercise in order to burn calories.

More importantly, the right amount of exercise would lead to good circulation of the blood and to the brain. As a matter of fact, researchers have found that the areas of the brain that are simulated through exercise are responsible for memory and learning. In
Addition students would start scoring higher on tests and have a good memory of what they are learning.

On the other hand, lots of gym can increase student engagement. Most of the time in gym, students are working together as a team and are engaged in sports. If students are engaged all the time in gym it would really affect there
