ROLE AND PURPOSE
This subject contributes to the achievement of the BBA (Hons) Programme Outcomes by providing students with an opportunity to understand management functions, group and individual dynamics within organizations and to apply such concepts to analyze and solve problems in business situations. The subject also provides students with knowledge and skills in leadership, teamwork, and decision making. In addition, it prepares students to analyze and resolve ethical issues in various business settings.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of the subject, students will be able to: understand the nature of managerial work in a variety of forms of organizations, and analyze the impact of the external environments, both domestic and global, on managers’ jobs. understand the functions of management in organizations, i.e., planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. apply an understanding of human behavior in teamwork, leadership, and decision making and to evaluate their implications for the management of organizations. comprehend the arguments surrounding social responsibility
